About Almond Blue
The band was created in 2003 by Polish couple Ewa and Emil Madaliński. Those days with a name “Sari”, they were getting experience from analysing and understanding styles of the music from all over the world. After few years of playing gigs in Poland and taking part in many festivals and competitions, the couple moved to Ireland and started to look for new people, challenges and inspirations. Today we can see its results. The "Almond Blue" is a project which connected people with different cultural backgrounds but with the same love for the music and with the same way of interpreting its multicultural sounds. All members of the band have great musical experiences from their own projects in the past. In Almond Blue they are able to share them with each other and create a new shape of the music they like. Rich and surprising rhythmical section, well-thought-out harmony of vocal and guitar, make their music exceptional. The Almond Blue is like a sound journey from the East to the warmest parts of Latin America through a fresh way full of new ideas.
